Support for open borders contradicts environmentalism

Repost from

Our current immigration policy, both legal and illegal are adding approximately 2 Million people a year to our nation’s population and we are expected to have a half a billion people by mid century. Many of these new citizens will be concentrated in the southwest where water resources are becoming scarce. Much of our wilderness is being destroyed by Urban Sprawl, caused by massive population growth. Why are so many environmentalists refusing to address the impact massive immigration is having on the environment?

Some of the earliest advocates for conservation in American history were President Teddy Roosevelt and later Charles Lindbergh, both of whom were American Nationalists. Since the 1960’s, The left has dominated the environmentalist movement. The same 60’s liberals who claimed the issue as their own also saw a liberal immigration policy as part of their social justice agenda. They supported LBJ in signing the immigration act of 1965, which has had a massive impact on Population Growth. Since than the left has had a monopoly on the issue and made it taboo to link the affects that massive immigration has had on the environment. They have gone out of their way to demonize anyone who is for restricting immigration as a racist or xenophobe.

The line that liberals and globalist use when confronted by the fact that immigration has had on the environment is that it is simply a transfer of people from one part of the world to another. However they fail to acknowledge that by adopting an American life style, immigrants are greatly increasing their impact on the environment as well as dramatically increasing our nation’s population. Despite the bias in the movement many Environmentalists Support Immigration Reform, the most significant organization being the Federation for American Immigration Reform , which has gained support across the political spectrum ranging from conservative GOP congressman Brian Bilbray to anti-war liberal icon Eugene McCarthy.

Both political parties are out of touch with the American people on these issues. The democrats as well as corporatist republicans have been advocates for massive immigration, while the GOP and the mainstream conservative movement have failed to address the issue of conservation, dismissing it as a liberal issue, only reinforcing the left’s monopoly on the environment. Both parties are backed by corporatist who have no regard for neither the environment nor American sovereignty and lobby for open borders along with the liberal elites. Americans who believe in national sovereignty, secure borders, and who have a concern for our environment are a large segment of the electorate who have been ignored by both major political parties and we need to make our voices heard.

Its time to reject the Left Right Paradigm and start a Populist Revolution

Repost from

Despite the nation’s partisan and ideological divide, both major political parties are dominated by the same special interest, mainly Wall Street, as well as foreign and internationalist interest groups. There are a handful of authentic progressives as well as traditional conservatives within the two parties, but for the most part the two party’s establishments have become almost identical. The two parties are bassically two franchises of one corporation, who cater to different political demographics but are owned by the same interest.

Third Parties have attempted to offer an alternative to the two party monopoly, but have never managed to gain any traction due to lack of financing and media coverage. Most of the existing third parties cater to small ideological segments of the population. A viable independent movement must unite populist movements on both ends of the political spectrum, a very difficult task however necessary for the survival of the Republic.

Both the liberal and conservative establishments love to create scapegoats to gain political capital from and to keep us distracted and divided. For the left it is generally right wing white males who the President demonized while campaigning in Pennsylvania. For the right it is liberals and so called “Islamo Fascist”. Both fail to address the big picture and our silent about the agenda of the globalist elites who are plundering our nations wealth and selling out its sovereignty to the highest bidder. Most prominent politicians of both major parties are members of the treasonous Council on Foreign Relations and are bought off by lobbyist. The Obama administration is just a continuation of Bush’s corporatist economic policy of bailing out elite bankers while middle class jobs are being shipped overseas thanks to our unfair trade agreements and not enforcing our immigration laws. Obama’s cabinet is filled with pro Israel hawks who are pursuing a hard-line position in the Middle East favored by the Neocons over the interest of his anti-war base. If Obama gets us into another war or continues the current war it will challenge the left wing domination of the anti-war movement that has existed since the Vietnam era.

Independent and Populist figures on both the left and the right such as Ralph Nader, Pat Buchanan, and Ron Paul are beginning to sound a lot a like. Nader in an interview with Pat Buchanan stated the need to for a limit on massive immigration and tried to reach out to Populist across the aisle. Thought crime bill H.R. 1955 was opposed by some of the most liberal members of congress such as Dennis Kucinich as well as the most conservatives such as Dana Rohrabacher, while supported by the majority of congress. Pat Buchanan’s Paleoconservative Publication the American Conservative has expressed concern over what were once thought of as progressive causes such as factory farming and urban sprawl. Populist on the left and the right have found common ground on ending the wars in the middle east, opposing the Patriot Act, a sound currency policy, unfair trade policies, and the bailouts of Wall Street.

How greed and liberalism are destroying the golden state

Repost from

Fifty years ago California was a paradise where people from across the country and the world were attracted by a pleasant climate, plentiful affordable open space, and a great standard of living. Today the State has a $19 Billion Deficit and a dwindling middle class. Much of our open space has been destroyed by urban sprawl and many once middle class comminutes are now rundown gang infested slums. The State is becoming like a third world banana republic with a widening gap between rich and poor and a declining middle class.

Both Liberals and Conservatives love to point fingers at each other, as to who is responsible for the state’s mess we are in. In reality both left wing social engineering, as well as greed often defended by Republican pundits is destroying the State.

I have always considered myself someone with a strong sense of rugged individualism as well as a strong supporter of property rights. However our state has faced destructive changes that force us to re-evaluate our land use policies. The attitude of most conservatives and libertarians has traditionally been that people should be able to do what ever they please with their own property. That was fine fifty years ago before the Immigration Act of 1965 along with lax border enforcement opened the floodgates to millions of people, many of them attracted to California because of its allure and multitude of opportunities.

Policies promoted by the left and special interest such as the powerful Teachers Union have destroyed our urban schools, driving middle class families out of the cities, further contributing to urban sprawl. Corporatist interests groups that donate heavily to both political parties, as well as left wing ethnocentric advocacy groups have been some of the strongest advocates for open borders. Many members of the conservationist organization, The Sierra Club wanted the organization to recognize the affects of massive immigration on the environment. However the organizations leadership caved into political correctness and pressure from left wing advocacy groups and their Wall Street Financiers. Billionaire Financier, David Gelbaum donated 100 million dollars to change the Sierra Club’s stance on immigration.

Greed on Wall Street along with social programs promising loans to those who were unqualified has created the foreclosure crisis in suburban California as well as subsidizing unsustainable development. The combination of over development, greed, and the massive immigration advocated by both the left and big business are destroying the quality of life in our state.

Liberal areas of the state, particularly the Bay Area have elected some of the strongest advocates for open borders in the Nation. However on a local level they have done an excellent job preserving open space and the historic character of their communities. Slow growth policies coupled with higher wages has deterred the massive over population that has plagued the southern part of the state. Southern California on the contrary has elected many hard liners on immigration. However the regions reckless growth and disregard for open space and historic preservation justified by their laissez faire philosophy has spoiled the region.

I have been accused of being anti capitalist by conservatives for supporting limits on growth, as well as a xenophobe by liberals for wanting to enforce our immigration laws. Liberals must re-evaluate their support for massive immigration and the damage it is doing to the environment and working class. Conservatives must be for conserving our natural resources as much as our fiscal resources instead of what is best for a quick profit.
